FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Dear Greenfield Parents,

God has placed something on my heart this week that I wanted to share with you. As I have had some heart talk opportunities with students this week I was reminded of how I would daily pray over my own kids on the way to school. It was a simple prayer, but it gave my kids a quick reset for the day and a reassurance that God was with them. Even now whenever I have a moment to meet with students, I take the time to pray over them, and guide them in God’s word.  It is so important to share and show our kids the power and importance of prayer, and how it can transform not only their lives, but our school community.

How are you modeling and teaching prayer? Is this something your kids see you do each day?

In our busy, fast-paced life, it is so easy to forget to stop and pray over different situations, interactions, and needs.. As a school, we are working towards creating a culture of prayer on our campus—one that encourages and nurtures a deeper relationship with God. The Bible speaks clearly about the significance of prayer, and we want to model this for our students.

  • Ephesians 6:18 reminds us to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” This passage encourages us to be persistent in prayer, seeking God’s wisdom and strength no matter the circumstances.
  • James 5:13, we are told, “Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray.” Whether we are facing trials or celebrating blessings, prayer is the vital connection that keeps us aligned with God’s will. It is an opportunity to surrender our worries and praises to Him.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:16 calls us to “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances.” A life of constant prayer allows us to remain in gratitude and joy, strengthening our resilience and keeping our hearts aligned with His peace.

We believe that as we develop a culture of prayer on our campus, both our students and staff will experience God’s presence in powerful ways. Prayer helps us in times of difficulty and celebration, as well as builds a deeper sense of community and purpose.

We encourage you to join us in this important journey by praying for our school and for the hearts of our students. Together, we can create an environment where prayer is not just a moment in time, but a way of life.

Thank you for partnering with us to instill the heart of prayer!

Impacting the world for Christ,

Annual Diaper/Formula Drive is February 12th-March 7th.

This is our 7th year doing the diaper drive. Something a little different this year….  We are asking for diaper sizes 4, 5, and 6 and cans of formula based on the need from Mission Ministries. We have a small group of teachers going to Mexico over spring break and will deliver the diapers and formula to Mission Ministries for the area pastors to be able to distribute.  Thank you to everyone who has brought diapers in!  We are getting closer to our goal so keep them coming!
