Hi Agritopia Parents,
I am excited to announce our upcoming Spring Hygiene/Diaper Drive in support of City Hope, a local ministry that we partner with, dedicated to meeting the needs of our community.
Each year, we partner with City Hope to host a Fall Food Drive and a Spring Hygiene/Diaper Drive. Jesus modeled a heart of compassion during His time on Earth, moving beyond feeling sympathy to taking action for those in need. Our desire is to cultivate the same compassion in our students, helping them recognize the needs around them and respond with a servant’s heart.
These Drives provide a meaningful opportunity to live out our mission of preparing our students to impact the world for Christ. Our desire is that our students develop a deep compassion for those who are less fortunate and experience the joy that comes from giving.
Collection Details:
When: Wednesday, February 19th – Friday, February 28th
What to Bring: (Assigned by grade level)
- PreK, Kinder, 1st Grade: Deodorant
- 2nd & 3rd Grade: Baby Wipes
- 4th & 5th Grade: Shampoo (no conditioner needed, 2-in-1 okay)
- 6th, 7th, 8th Grade: Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
- All Grades: Diapers
Throughout the Drive, our American Heritage Girls will collect and box up the items, which our middle school Student Leadership Team will personally deliver to City Hope on Monday, March 3rd. We are grateful for your support in making this Drive a meaningful expression of Christ’s love.

KINDER CAP & GOWN & 8th GRADE PANO
The Kindergarten classes will be having their cap & gown pictures taken on Friday, February 21st. Kindergarteners need to wear their uniforms as usual. Parents who are interested in helping with Kindergarten pictures can sign up HERE.
All 8th graders will be having their individual pictures done and a pano will be taken of the class.
This is a free dress day for 8th graders. For dress code guidelines, please see the handbook.
DRESS CODE REMINDER
As the weather warms up, please make sure your child has appropriate length shorts. Shorts must be at or just slightly above the knee (4 finger width), modest length as per administrator discretion.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS
The Gilbert Christian Middle School Spiritline Gold Cheer Team is gearing up for their third and final competition of the season at the Arizona State Cheerleading/Pom Tournament next Friday, February 21st! They will be competing in a new division and performing a new routine, with added difficulty, as they take the mat one last time this season. Let’s Go, Lady Knights!!

GCMS Performance Time: 7:12 PM
Awards Ceremony: 8:55 PM
Spectator Info:
$10 per person (kids 5 & under free). Cash & cards accepted
Seating on the east side of the gym. Arrive early for the best view!
Concessions Available – Water allowed inside the gym
Parking: Free – Follow signs and look for helpers in orange vests.
