FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE
TO SEND OR NOT TO SEND?
As we enter into the cold and flu season, it can be hard to know when to keep your child home. If your child should have any of the following they should be kept home:
*Fever of 100 degrees or higher
*Eyes that have drainage
*Rashes, hives, blisters, skin drainage or other skin abnormalities
*Vomiting
*Diarrhea
If your child has been diagnosed with an infection (strep, etc.) that requires the use of antibiotics they must have been on the antibiotics for 24 hours before they may return to school.
It is safe for them to return to class once they are fever free, no longer vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours without the use of any medication. During this season you can help to ensure your children stay well by helping to encourage healthy habits such as good nutrition, plenty of rest, adequate hydration, coughing/sneezing into our elbows and most importantly, HAND WASHING, (our best defense against illness). If you have any questions, please contact the Health Office.

During the AM and PM driveline please make sure to use your blinker as you are entering and exiting the curb line. We appreciate your partnering as we try to load kids as quickly and safely as possible.
