From our Principal
On the Agritopia campus we are eagerly preparing to welcome you and your children back to school for the start of another blessed academic year!
At GCS, we believe that a Christ-centered education is not just about academic excellence but also about cultivating a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout this year, our school’s core mission will continue to revolve around nurturing the spiritual growth of our students and partnering with you!
On campus this year we will dive deeply into Matthew 5:1-16, with our school theme being Changed Lives Change Lives. These verses describe the true character of those who are citizens of His kingdom. The word “beatitude” literally means “blessing”. We could simply call these “the blessings”. The beatitudes are not given in a random order, rather they build upon each other to show the blessings that come from a life surrendered to Christ.
Through these descriptions, we see not only the life that God calls us to live, but also the results of that life. Walking in faith, leaning into God in obedience and trust, yields immense blessings. The meek shall inherit the earth, if you hunger and thirst for righteousness, you will be satisfied. Immediately after this, Jesus tells his disciples that they are the salt of the earth and light of the world. The blessed change that is experienced by the Christ-follower is not meant to be hidden away. It is meant to shine out to the world, “that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt 5:16b)
