The Assistant to the Vice Principal works under the direction of the High School Vice Principal. They coordinate, organize, oversee and perform everyday clerical and administrative tasks. They serve as a liaison between students, staff and parents. General support for the High School faculty and volunteers.

Job Responsibilities 

Oversee, coordinate and perform day to day school administrative functions

Calendar and scheduling duties

Update student handbook

Relay information to staff and students using a variety of mediums

Provide support for faculty

Supervise students as needed for brief periods

Assist with Staff Meeting setup & tear down

Assist with Chapel & Small Group logistics (spreadsheets, etc.)

Assist with Lunch Menu set up, overseeing volunteers, ordering lunches

Assist with Baccalaureate and Graduation duties

Assist with events (set up, purchasing items, etc.)

Assist with clerical work relating to discipline (logging items into FACTS)

Assist with staff & student experience (purchasing items during the school day, etc.)

Other duties as assigned

Gilbert Christian Schools is seeking a responsible and organized individual to serve as the Athletic Events Parking Coordinator for GCHS athletic events. In this role, you will oversee and direct overflow parking during home athletic events, ensuring smooth traffic flow and efficient use of available parking spaces. This is a part-time, seasonal position that aligns with the athletic schedule, requiring availability on specific dates and times corresponding with games and other events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee parking operations during GCHS athletic events, including overflow parking management.
• Direct traffic flow and ensure parking areas are used efficiently.
• Collaborate with event staff to ensure parking procedures are followed.
• Address any parking-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Set up signage and parking equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in event management or parking coordination is a plus.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or high-pressure situations.

Hours & Compensation:

• Part-time, based on the GCHS athletic schedule.
• Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
