Administrative Positions


The Assistant Videographer supports the day-to-day visual storytelling efforts of Gilbert Christian Schools by capturing, editing, and organizing photo and video content that reflects the life, mission, and Knight Nation culture of GCS. This role plays a key part in telling the story of our campuses through engaging, real-time content that highlights faith, student life, and community.

This position works closely with the marketing and communications team and supports larger video production efforts as well as daily content needs across campuses.


 Content Capture & Production

  • Assist with on-campus video and photography shoots, including setup and breakdown of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Capture day-to-day campus life content aligned with GCS storytelling priorities:
    • Faith
    • Student Life
    • Community & Events
    • Academics & Staff Excellence
    • Alumni & Legacy
  • Gather real-time content for social media stories and short-form video (chapel moments, classroom activities, student interactions, etc.)
  • Attend after-hours events and extracurricular activities to capture photo and video content for marketing and communications

Post-Production & Editing

  • Edit video and photo content using tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar platforms
  • Perform basic editing functions including cuts, color correction, audio balancing, and light motion graphics
  • Prepare content for various platforms including social media, website, and internal communications

Creative Support

  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas that align with the mission of GCS
  • Contribute to storytelling that reflects the school’s identity and Christian values
  • Take direction well while offering input when appropriate

Event & Production Support

  • Support live event coverage (chapels, athletics, performances, and school events) as a second camera operator or production assistant
  • Assist lead videographer with larger video projects and shoots

Organization & Asset Management

  • Organize and archive raw footage and edited assets within the school’s digital asset system
  • Maintain consistent file structure and naming conventions

Equipment & Operations

  • Maintain, set up, and troubleshoot camera, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Learn and apply proper lighting techniques for both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The Admissions Coordinator supports applicants through the inquiry, admissions, and onboarding process, assists with annual enrollment/re-enrollment, and manages student records. The Admissions Coordinator will provide administrative support to the department by managing a queue of inquiries and applications for enrollment, maintaining student records and any incoming or outgoing records requests, communicating with potential and current GCS families, completing data entry tasks, and processing enrollments and withdrawals, with a focus on one of our PK-8 campuses. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, provide high touch personalized customer service, perform with high accuracy and efficiency, and be an excellent team player. 


Faculty Positions


Gilbert Christian Schools is seeking a part-time high school science teacher for sports medicine classes for grades 10-12, beginning with the 2026-27 school year. In addition to formal training in the teaching of anatomy, physiology, or kinesiology, teaching the subject from a biblical worldview is important for this position.

Staff Positions


This position is responsible for the assigned campus security as well as the overall safety of students and staff. This involves responsibility for monitoring and protecting each campus both during and after normal school hours. The primary emphasis in this position is to protect students, staff and families, as well as to deter vandalism, unlawful entry and unwarranted loitering on school properties.

Coaching Openings


The Assistant Athletic Director serves as a key administrative leader within the Gilbert Christian High School athletic department. This role expands leadership capacity, strengthens operational oversight, and supports the long-term sustainability of the Knight Nation athletic program. It allows the Athletic Director to focus on strategic leadership, coach development, and program growth while ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.

This role helps create leadership margin and strengthen the athletic department by:

  • Improving event supervision and operational oversight

  • Integrate Biblical principles and a Christian worldview into athletics
  • Lead devotions for coaching staff

Athletic Leadership Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration and leadership of the high school athletic department
  • Maintain the athletic calendar for games, practices, and team events
  • Build and manage game schedules in collaboration with head coaches
  • Confirm officials, opponents, and event logistics
  • Coordinate athletic events and supervise games as assigned
  • Represent the school at AIA scheduling meetings when directed
  • Support evaluation of short- and long-range program needs
  • Assist in resolving operational issues within the athletic program

Event Operations and Risk Management

  • Provide on-site administrative supervision at athletic events
  • Support AIA compliance and athletic regulations
  • Assist with safety protocols and crowd management
  • Monitor facilities and operational risks during athletic activities

Communications

  • Maintain effective communication with coaches, students, parents, and staff
  • Support promotion of athletics through the website and social media
  • Uphold the athletic conduct code and expectations for sportsmanship
  • Encourage student involvement in athletic programs
  • Promote academic success among student-athletes
