I cannot find the words to express how blessed I am to be able to serve as the school principal for the new Val Vista PK-8 campus of Gilbert Christian Schools.  The Val Vista Campus opened just in time for the 2023-2024 school year.  This expansion will serve as another way to glorify the work that God is doing in the East Valley through GCS.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 states “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.  And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.  You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”  As a Christian school principal, my top priority is to partner with parents to prepare the next generation to impact the world for Christ, and I do not take lightly the responsibility or the trust that is extended to us by families for the stewardship of their children for seven plus hours a day.  Rest assured that as with the other GCS campuses that the Val Vista Campus will provide rigorous learning opportunities for students on a daily basis delivered through a biblical worldview to create a campus full of students and staff that are absolutely on fire for God!

As we partner with you to help prepare your children to impact the world for Christ, let us keep in mind what is written in Hebrews 12:1-3, “Therefore since ware surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.  Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.”  It is our turn and our responsibility to partner together to continue moving the spiritual growth of our children forward, and I look forward to going on this journey with you.
