Hi Agritopia Families,
Next week is KNIGHTS Core Values Week at GCS: a time to focus on the seven attributes we seek to instill in our students. Each day features a theme color, a school challenge, and a home challenge for your family.
Students may wear a school polo in the day’s color or a school-appropriate free dress shirt in that color. Dress code bottoms (jeans, khakis, etc.) are required. Shirts must have sleeves and extend below the waistline. Please no crazy hair, hair paint, face paint, hats, sunglasses, or headgear. This is not a spirit week, normal dress guidelines apply.
Today, the youngest child in each family will bring home a Core Value Week postcard with the full schedule.

PARENTING CLASS WITH MRS. SHUE: PreK-4th Grade
SAVE THE DATE: Join us Monday, September 8th at 6:00 PM for a parenting class with Mrs. Shue and Mrs. Ehlers! This class is designed for parents of PreK–4th grade students and will equip you with practical tools for having conversations (heart talks) with your child that guide them through Scripture and point them back to Christ. PICTURE DAY
Individual student AND class pictures will be on Wednesday 8/27 and Thursday 8/28 in the morning. Students must be in school uniform for picture day. Retakes for individual photos will be offered on Wednesday, October 1st. There are no retakes for class photos.
Wednesday 8/27: PreK AM & PM, Kinder, 2nd, 4th, 6th
Thursday 8/28: 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th

ROOTED: PRAYER TEAM
Join our campus prayer leader, Michelle Parra, from 8:05-8:35am every Monday to pray for our school. If you have a prayer request and/or praise report please use our Prayer link.
DRIVELINE
Reminder: Do not exit the vehicle to buckle/unbuckle your child. GCS staff will assist your child and help with buckling if needed.
