FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Greenfield Families,
Fall Break has finally arrived!🍂 As your family enjoys the first two weeks of October, it can be so easy to exchange one busy routine for another. Instead, I encourage you to seize this season of the formative years to spend quality time in God’s Word and have open conversations about how we can respond to the world’s influences from a Biblical perspective.
“Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Ephesians 5:15–16
As you slow down, remember the reminder in Psalm 90:12: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Each day is a gift from the Lord, and Fall Break provides a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and use time well. Whether your break is full or open, encourage your children to consider how they can live with purpose and bring glory to God in the way they spend their days.
Here are some helpful resources to guide meaningful conversations as a family:
- The Axis Team — Culture Translator
- Protecting Young Eyes — Creating Safer Digital Spaces
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
—Romans 12:2
I look forward to hearing about how you and your children enjoy your Fall Break!
