FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Hi Agritopia Parents,
As many of you know, I have been a parent for 25 years. Even as you read this, I am with Mr. Shue in Kentucky dropping off our daughter, our youngest child, at Campbellsville University. As I reflect on this new season in my own parenting journey, I’m reminded how important it is to encourage and support one another as we raise our children.
I am passionate about supporting parents and love opportunities to provide parenting support from a Biblical perspective. Seeing the direction of our culture, and having just finished reading The War on Children by John MacArthur, I am freshly reminded of the magnitude of responsibility Christian parents carry right now. There are so many forces working against children, families, and the call to raise the next generation with a Biblical worldview.
This is why I host parenting sessions. My goal is to equip you with practical tools to guide, train, and encourage your children in a way that points them toward Christ. My desire is to come alongside you as you lay a strong Christian foundation in your home and shepherd your children’s hearts with wisdom and love.
Our first parenting session is designed for PK–4th grade parents. Mrs. Ehlers and I will share Christ-centered strategies for these important early years, offering practical ideas, examples, and ways to use scripture in your parenting. Childcare will be provided for children ages 4 and up (please let us know on your RSVP if you’ll need it). A separate session for 5th–8th grade parents will be offered November 17th.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening designed to strengthen and encourage you in your most important calling: raising children who know and follow Jesus.
