FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Greenfield Families,
Wow! What an incredible year! Throughout this year, our students have learned and lived out the profound message of Changed lives, Change Lives. The Beatitudes invite us into a life of humility, compassion, and righteousness, encouraging us to live out our faith in meaningful ways. It has been wonderful to see how these principles have shaped our classroom environment and the personal growth of each student.
From the very first chapel, where we discussed the “poor in spirit” and the “meek,” to the ongoing conversations about being “peacemakers” and showing mercy, the Beatitudes have been so transformative. Students have embraced these truths and put them into action in their daily lives — whether through acts of kindness, standing up for what is right, or showing compassion to others in moments of hardship.
As a community, we have witnessed firsthand how the students have embraced these attitudes. Many of our students have shared stories of how they have used these lessons to navigate challenges and become a source of building a strong school culture. Whether it was supporting a friend through difficult times or actively seeking to make peace in moments of tension, the impact has been significant.
Matthew 5:16 reminds us that “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” This year, I have seen countless examples of our students letting their light shine. They have brought hope, joy, and faith into our school community, and I could not be more proud of each and every one of them.
As we close out this year, I encourage all of us — students, staff, and families — to continue embracing the call of the Beatitudes in our everyday lives. Let’s carry the lessons we have learned this year forward, knowing that each act of kindness, humility, and peace can change lives for eternity.
Changed Lives, Change Lives!
