Principal’s Paragraph
Dear Greenfield Parents,
At Gilbert Christian we recognize the immense responsibility we have in partnering with you to nurture and grow your children academically. Our ultimate goal extends beyond academic achievements as we seek to shape the hearts, minds, and character of our students according to the truth found in God’s Word.
Your children are taught that truth is not relative, but solely grounded in the unchanging Word of God. This foundation helps them to discern right from wrong, and equips them to stand firm in their faith, even when they encounter conflicting worldviews. On campus we are always focused on ways to build your child’s biblical knowledge and shape their worldview. One of the ways in which we do this is through Christian based curriculum.
Solid Christian curriculum helps students view the world through the lens of Scripture. Every subject—whether it’s science, history, mathematics, or literature—reflects God’s creation and purpose. You may have noticed that we have a new reading and math curriculum in K-5 both of which are Christian curriculums. By integrating biblical truth into all aspects of learning, we are continually guiding your children to see God’s hand in various disciplines, helping them develop a consistent, Christ-centered worldview.
We believe that the spiritual and academic education of a child is most effective when all 3 pillars are aligned: church, home and school, working together, which is the heart of our mission statement. Your partnership is essential in reinforcing the truths we teach, and we are grateful for the opportunity to come alongside you as you guide your child to fully see the grace and love of God in everything.
Impacting the world for Christ,
