This club explores Hanukkah, the eight day Jewish Holiday celebrating the miraculous Jewish victory over foreign rulers who tried to stop them from practicing their faith. Hanukkah remembers the miracle of the oil when there was only enough oil for one night, but it lasted eight! Students will mix math and taste geography while acquiring cooking skills like cracking eggs, measuring dry ingredients, liquids, and more in an exciting learning environment. All chopping and baked goodies are prepared by me prior to class so knives and hot materials aren't used by students.

This club explores Hanukkah, the eight day Jewish Holiday celebrating the miraculous Jewish victory over foreign rulers who tried to stop them from practicing their faith. Hanukkah remembers the miracle of the oil when there was only enough oil for one night, but it lasted eight! Students will mix math and taste geography while acquiring cooking skills like cracking eggs, measuring dry ingredients, liquids, and more in an exciting learning environment. All chopping and baked goodies are prepared by me prior to class so knives and hot materials aren't used by students.
