Greenfield 11.26.2025

FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
Psalm 100:4–5

Dear Greenfield Families,

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been intentionally focusing on cultivating an attitude of gratitude, one that begins with a heart devoted to prayer and seeking God first in all we do. If thanksgiving is our response to God’s goodness, then gratitude is the deep well within us that fuels those expressions of praise. Each morning, I’ve been sharing different Scriptures on thanksgiving with the students, and it has been such a joy to reflect on God’s faithfulness together.

Today was especially meaningful as we welcomed our special guest on campus. Job 12:12 reminds us, “Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old,” highlighting the beauty and value of the generations who have gone before us. Our students loved celebrating the day with their Thanksgiving activities and sharing their grade, specific verses and poems during our program. Their joy, creativity, and confidence made the morning truly special.

I am grateful that at GCS, we have the privilege of teaching our students to honor and cherish the wisdom of age, something deeply rooted in God’s design. As we head into the long weekend, I pray you enjoy time with family and find moments to thank God for the blessings He has poured out. We are grateful for each of you.

Impacting the world for Christ,
