FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
We’re excited to kick off our annual City Hope Drive this Monday, October 27th, through Friday, November 7th! This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to be the hands and feet of Jesus, giving generously from the abundance God has entrusted to us. Through our donations, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need right here in Gilbert/Mesa.
If you haven’t had a chance to see what this outreach has looked like in past years, I encourage you to watch our City Hope Drive Video, a beautiful reminder of the powerful impact our school community has.
In the past, we’ve split the drive into two parts: food in the fall and personal care items in the spring. This year, we’re combining both into one large drive, collecting food and personal care items that City Hope has specifically requested.
Over the next two weeks, our American Heritage Girls will package the donated items, and on November 12th, our Middle School Student Leadership Team will deliver everything to City Hope.

Students will mix math and taste geography while acquiring cooking skills and basics like cracking eggs, measuring dry ingredients and liquids, and more in an exciting learning environment! All chopping and baked goodies are prepared prior to class so knives and hot materials are not used in class.
