High School 09.05.2025

FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Dear GCHS Families,

We have so much to celebrate as God continues to move powerfully through our community.

Senior Lumina – Seniors Serving in the Community
This past week, our senior class participated in our very first Senior Lumina. This special day was dedicated to living out Christ’s command to love and serve others. Our seniors spread out across the community, partnering with schools, ministries, and service projects to shine the light of Jesus. It was an incredible opportunity for them to demonstrate servant leadership and live out our mission of impacting the world for Christ. We are so proud of the way they represented both our school and their Savior!

Prayer Walk – Covering Our School in Prayer
On Wednesday, we were deeply blessed as prayer warriors from our community gathered to lift up our school, students, faculty, and families. During our Prayer Walk, these faithful brothers and sisters in Christ walked our campus, interceding for protection, wisdom, unity, and continued faithfulness to God’s calling. What a joy and encouragement it was to know that every classroom, hallway, and activity was being covered in prayer. We are grateful for the body of Christ and the way they continue to support GCHS through prayer.

At Gilbert Christian High School, we are reminded daily that our mission is not just about academics, it is about shaping hearts, minds, and lives for the glory of God. Thank you for your continued partnership in this journey.

For such a time as this,

DISC Assessment

Over the next few days, your student will have the opportunity to take the DISC assessment, free of charge. The DISC is a personality and behavior tool that helps students better understand their strengths, communication styles, and how they work with others. Our hope is that by gaining these insights, students will be better equipped to use their unique, God-given gifts and talents to serve and glorify Christ in the classroom, on the field, and in their future careers.

Senior Day – September 23rd

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents. Join us on September 23rd at 7:45am for a time to discuss Senior year activities and college admissions 101. The meeting will take place in the gym and will be led by the counseling team!

EUROPE 2026

We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for next year, a 10-day Europe trip in May 2026, departing just a few days after graduation! This unforgettable journey will take students to Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and Budapest. The trip will be led by Mr. Noble and Dr. Mitchell, providing a unique perspective, connecting the historical significance of these destinations with biblical insights. It’s a perfect graduation gift or an amazing way to kick off the summer.

Don’t miss out on this chance to explore Europe with your classmates and teachers, and from a Biblical perspective.

Please note: All students attending must be a current GCHS student or GCHS graduate of the 2026 class at the time of the trip.
