FIRST RESPONDERS LUNCH
Hello Val Vista Families,
Patriots Day is coming up and we want to bless our first responders with lunch and some other fun surprises to say THANK YOU! Attached is an invitation to fill out if you or a first responder you know can attend! This will also be going out in Parent Square and teacher newsletters.

If you have photos of or with a first responder family member or friend please send those to your child’s teacher! We would also love to have some first responder vehicles on campus during this fun event. If you are or know a first responder able and willing to bring to display, this would be a wonderful way to inspire the students and help them better understand the dedication and bravery it takes to serve.

CHRISTMAS MARKET (START UP CLUB)
Applications for the start up club can be found HERE. *Applications are due by 9/12/25, however space is limited! Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. This application will close when we have reached market capacity.*
THE DRAW: A FATHER/SON EVENT
Calling ALL VV Fathers and Sons in grades PK-8, please join us for a night of fun, food and fellowship on Thursday, October 2nd from 6-8:30pm at the VV campus. Dinner is covered in the price of admission along with our traditional favorites such as nerf wars, obstacle courses and fellowship time. Shirts are available for purchase in the registration link HERE.
THEATRE CLUB
Val Vista and Greenfield Theatre Club begins Friday, September 5th from 3:30PM – 5:00PM in the GREENFIELD MPR, and will run for 10 weeks. Club time will be spent learning foundational stage skills as well as an introduction to the MS Spring Musical …. FROZEN, Jr.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We’re looking for volunteers! We have many areas where we need help. If you’re interested, please click below. INTEREST FORM
Planning to volunteer this year? Please wear a GCS spirit or polo shirt to volunteer on campus for the 25/26 school year. You can purchase a polo HERE or grab one at our uniform exchange on 8/9.
All volunteers must have an Approved Background Check and Volunteer Agreement Form submitted. If you filled them out for the 23/24 school year, YOU ARE UP FOR RENEWAL and will need to fill them out again. If you filled one out for the 24/25, you DO NOT need to fill a Volunteer Agreement or Background Check for the 25/26 next year. They’re good for 2 years. ALL NEW families need to fill them out.
