From our Principal
Dear GCHS High School Families,
As we bring this school year to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Walking alongside your students, watching them grow in wisdom, character, and faith, has been a true privilege. Your support, prayers, and partnership have meant so much to all of us here at GCHS.
This summer, we’ll be sending email updates with important information about next year, including policy updates and other preparations. Please keep an eye on your inbox so you’re ready for what’s ahead.
As you step into the slower rhythms of summer, may you find time to rest, reflect, and be renewed. I leave you with this encouragement:
And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail — Isaiah 58:11
For such a time as this,

EUROPE 2026
We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for our upperclassmen next year, a 10-day Europe trip in May 2026, departing just a few days after graduation! This unforgettable journey will take students to Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and Budapest. The trip will be led by Mr. Noble and Dr. Mitchell, providing a unique perspective, connecting the historical significance of these destinations with biblical insights. It’s a perfect graduation gift or an amazing way to kick off the summer.
Don’t miss out on this chance to explore Europe with your classmates and teachers, and from a Biblical perspective.
Please note: All students attending must be a current GCHS student or GCHS graduate of the 2026 class at the time of the trip.
A NOTE FROM OUR ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT
What a year in athletics! We won a boys soccer state championship this winter, a beach volleyball pairs title (Lillie Duitsman and Alex Heyn) this spring, and Addison Bisceglie broke all kinds of records, while winning 800m and 1600m crowns at the track and field championships last weekend.
We are incredibly proud of our athletes and what they have accomplished in 2024-25. Thank you to our coaches, teachers, parents and fans for all of your support and encouragement. A huge shoutout to our administrative team, Athletic Director Mark Duitsman, Assistant Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer Ashley Storey, and Athletic Coordinator Andrew Rasmussen for their leadership, and endless work behind the scenes to make our department great.
To our seniors: what a run! Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your journey. We send you out knowing that your race is just beginning. There will be obstacles, and challenges, and times when you will feel fatigue. In those moments, fix your eyes on Jesus, draw on His strength, and put one foot in front of the other. You only lose if you give up. The eternal prize is yours. Keep running.
Go Knights.
