SEMESTER FINALS
Senior final exams will be held May 7th-9th and for the rest of the students semester final exams will be held May 20th-22nd. Please plan trips, vacations, doctor’s appointments, etc. around these dates. Thanks!
SAFETY
Please be careful when driving onto campus, especially in regard to speed. Because of construction, there are lots of blind spots, heavy machinery, and workers on site. Reducing speed when driving through will help us to prevent any unnecessary accidents or issues.
A NOTE FROM OUR ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT
Wow! It has been a whirlwind week of playoff contests for our winter teams, and TWO squads are still in the mix for a 2025 state title!
Top-ranked boys soccer (14-0) advanced to the 3A title game with two hard-fought playoff wins over No. 8 Palo Verde Magnet (3-3 2OT, 6-5 PK shootout victory), and No. 5 Catalina (3-1) this week. The Knights will face three-seed Yuma Catholic in the championship tomorrow night at Mountain Pointe High School (7:00pm). All fans will need a ticket for entrance, grab yours HERE! We hope to see you there!
Our second-ranked boys hoops’ squad is also on the docket at Mountain Pointe HS tomorrow, squaring off in the state semifinal against No. 6 San Tan Charter for a spot in the AIA Boys Basketball Copper State Championship. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00pm, and you will need a TICKET to attend the showdown. You don’t want to miss this game!
Tomorrow is also your opportunity to watch our fantastic Spiritline compete locally. The Knights are fired up and ready to display their skills at the Arizona State Cheer and Pom Competition in the morning! “Pink State” is scheduled to run from 7:30am-10:30am, and will be held at North Canyon High School (1700 E Union Hills Dr, Phoenix).
The GCHS Spiritline is also hosting a fundraiser next Tuesday, February 25th at MOD Pizza (2904 S San Tan Village Parkway, Suite 101, Gilbert), where 20% of food and beverage sales will go to the program. Be sure to mark your calendars, and mention the Gilbert Christian High School Cheer Team when ordering!
Thank you to our wonderful fans for all of your support in the 2025 postseason! It has been so fun to watch you in the stands and bleachers, cheering on our athletes! We also want to extend congratulations to our girls’ soccer and girls’ basketball teams for their amazing seasons. They really made us proud. Go Knights!
