FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Hi Agritopia Families,
At GCS, we believe that spiritual growth is just as vital for our staff as it is for our students. Each month, we set aside time for spiritual professional development, where our faculty gathers to deepen their understanding of God’s Word, strengthen their faith, and grow in their ability to disciple the next generation effectively.
This past month, our Bible teacher, Mr. Mathews, led our staff in a discussion about the gospel, specifically focusing on two key questions:
- What does the Bible say about God’s hatred of sin?
- How do we communicate that truth, both to our students and to those outside our school?
These discussions remind us of the seriousness of sin, the holiness of God, and the incredible grace He extends to us through Jesus Christ. As we equip our students with a biblical worldview, it is essential that we communicate the full truth of the gospel, both God’s justice and His mercy, faithfully and with love.
I encourage you as parents to also find ways to nourish your soul and strengthen your faith. One quick and accessible resource I highly recommend is the For the Gospel podcast, hosted by Costi Hinn, a local church pastor. Many of us at Gilbert Christian School listen regularly, and we have found it to be a biblically sound and enriching resource for growing in our understanding of Scripture.
Thank you for partnering with us in shaping the hearts and minds of our students for Christ. We pray that you, too, are encouraged and strengthened in your faith as we walk together in this mission.

SPRING PICTURES
Spring Pictures are Wednesday, February 12th AND Thursday, February 13th. These are not free dress days. Each student will have their individual picture taken, as well as a class picture. Please note below which day your child’s grade level will be having their pictures taken. Teachers will be sending out communication for this as well.

NEW FAMILY COFFEE & FEEDBACK
Thursday, February 13th, 8:05-9:00am in the AG cafeteria
We are inviting all families who are new to Agritopia this year to join us for our annual Coffee & Feedback. This is a time of fellowship with Mrs. Shue and Mrs. Ehlers and an opportunity to give feedback on your experience joining the GCS Agritopia family. Coffee and light refreshments are provided and younger siblings are welcome to attend with parents.

MOTHER SON EVENT
The Agritopia campus will be having our first ever Mother Son event on Friday, April 4th! More details to come on the exciting activities we have planned for this event.

DIAPERS & TOILETRIES DRIVE
Our annual City Hope – Diapers and Toiletries Drive will be starting on Wednesday, February 19th. More information coming soon regarding collection items.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS
Spring sports are quickly approaching, and we are seeking a golf coach for our Agritopia campus to lead our co-ed team. If you are interested in this opportunity or know someone who might be, please contact [email protected].
