Water Day
PreK-5th Water Day is Wednesday, May 22nd.

Dress Code and Rules:
Here are a few details to explain the special dress code:
- Please do not wear uniforms on Water Day.
- Modest swimsuit with plain shorts and a dark colored t-shirt or rashguard (that will dry quickly) over the top of the swimsuit.
- A two piece tankini is suggested for female students with a shirt on top and shorts on the bottom.
- Please avoid shorts with brads or bling, as they may rip the blow-ups.
- Students will not be allowed to change at school.
- Flip flops are recommended.
- Hats and/or sunglasses are great.
- Please apply sunscreen at home.
- Please bring a towel to dry off with.
- Please bring a LARGE water bottle, as the weather is warming up and the students will be outside for a few hours.
- Get ready for a great time!

LOST AND FOUND
Our Lost and Found bins were overflowing. All items have been laid out on tables by the ES courtyard. If your child is missing anything that you think they may have brought on campus, please come to look and claim what was lost. All items not claimed will be donated when school ends.
Uniform Exchange
Save the date – Uniform Exchange Saturday, July 27 in the hallway near the offices on the Greenfield campus from 9-10am. Families may take up to 5 tops per registered student.
2024 GCS Summer Hours
High School – Greenfield – Agritopia – Val Vista
All GCS school campuses will be open through May 24th, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and then closed for the summer. The school offices will reopen to the public on July 22nd regular office hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The District Office will be open throughout the summer. Beginning May 28th office hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The office will be closed on Fridays and any scheduled holidays.

Faith and Family Night
Each year the GCS PK-8th campuses attend the Diamondbacks Faith and Family Night. This year, that event is on August 9th from 6:40 pm-10:00 pm at Chase Field. Casting Crowns will be performing after the game. Come and enjoy the game, sit with friends and families from Val Vista and stay for the concert!
