Future Families Liaison

Bock, Dennis

Dennis grew up in Tucson and graduated from Tucson High School in 1967. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Navy and spent more than four years stationed at Navy bases in Northern California and Guam, working on aircraft. After completing his military service, he worked for Seven-Up Bottling in Tucson for three years.

Feeling the Holy Spirit’s call to full-time ministry, Dennis moved his family to California in 1975 to attend Bible college. Following graduation, he joined a church staff as a worship and counseling pastor. In 1983, God led him to help start a Christian school in South Orange County. What began with just 38 students eventually grew to more than 600.

Dennis retired in June 2015 after 32 years of service as an assistant superintendent, and he and his wife relocated to Queen Creek to be closer to their youngest grandchildren. In September 2016, he was offered the role of Future Families Liaison at Gilbert Christian Schools and joyfully accepted. He loves helping families navigate their search for the best Christian education for their children.

Dennis and his wife have been married for more than 50 years and are blessed with two grown children and seven grandchildren—including their two youngest grandchildren, who attend Gilbert Christian Schools.

Doest, Tara

Mrs. Doest received her Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton in 1998, and in 2000 her teaching certification and Masters in Education from National University. She started teaching 6th grade in 2013 at Mesa Public Schools and, through an incredible God story, was placed at GCS in 2019.  The Doest Family attends Christ Church of the Valley-East Valley campus where they have the opportunity to serve God and others through various ministries. Her life is filled with the love from her husband and three boys. She enjoys running, cooking yummy meals, and her most treasured times are with her family around the dinner table or at the beach in Southern California.

Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

Student Services Support

Noll, Stephanie

Mrs. Noll has been a valued member of the GCS team since the Val Vista’s opening in 2023. She began her journey in the front office at the Val Vista campus and now serves as the Student Services Assistant for all three K–8 campuses. Prior to joining GCS, she worked as a Special Education Clerk in the Gilbert Public Schools district and also served as a classroom aide in a special education setting at Spectrum Elementary. These roles have provided her with extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, making her current position a natural and fulfilling fit. Mrs. Noll holds a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences: Education from California State University, Northridge. She and her husband, Ryan have two children who attend GCS, one at the Val Vista campus and the other at the High School. Their family is actively involved in Mission Bible Church in Gilbert. Outside of work, Mrs. Noll enjoys baking with her sourdough starter, staying active through workouts and hiking, supporting her son’s basketball games, watching her daughter ride horses, and also spending time with friends. She feels truly blessed to be part of the GCS community and finds great joy in supporting students and families on their educational journey.
