Veterans Day Assembly
We invite all GCS Veterans-parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members to join us for our school-wide Veterans Day Assembly on Monday, November 10th at 8:30am.
The morning will begin with our Veterans entering the school as early as 7:30am through our front office and making their way through our Honor Hallway. Veterans are then invited to join us for Heart Start at 7:55 with a light reception of coffee and refreshments in the cafeteria immediately following.
At 8:15 the gymnasium doors will open for family members to find seats. Veterans will remain in the cafeteria and will be escorted to the gym at 8:25am. The assembly will begin promptly at 8:30am.
Please RSVP at the below link, so we can ensure that there are enough seats and refreshments for everyone. If possible, we encourage Veterans to wear their uniforms as we honor their service.
On this day we are also asking that students wear Red, White, and Blue. Please wear a GCS polo, or plain tee shirt, in the following colors. Students will still follow the dress code for bottoms.

November 10th (during your child’s lunch period)
Bring a blanket/chairs and lunch to eat with your child/children out on the field during his/her lunch period. No need to check in at the office, just head to the field to set up and meet your child there. Hot lunch is still available for your child to order as usual if you so choose.

We’re looking for volunteers! We have many areas where we need help. If you’re interested, please click below. INTEREST FORM
Planning to volunteer this year? Please wear a GCS spirit or polo shirt to volunteer on campus for the 25/26 school year. You can purchase a polo HERE or grab one at our uniform exchange on 8/9.
All volunteers must have an Approved Background Check and Volunteer Agreement Form submitted. If you filled them out for the 23/24 school year, YOU ARE UP FOR RENEWAL and will need to fill them out again. If you filled one out for the 24/25, you DO NOT need to fill a Volunteer Agreement or Background Check for the 25/26 next year. They’re good for 2 years. ALL NEW families need to fill them out.
