FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Greenfield Parents,
As we enter the last few weeks of school it is important to be reminded of the purpose of education in the Kingdom of God. Christian education is not merely an academics, but an opportunity to disciple our children in the truth and love of Christ, nurturing their hearts, minds, and spirits to honor and glorify Him in all they do.
Why is Kingdom Education so important for the glory of God?
Honoring God in All We Do
Every subject, every lesson, and every activity can be an act of worship. As Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Our educational efforts are not simply about knowledge but about growing in wisdom and understanding that glorifies God.
Teaching God’s Truth in All Subjects
The foundation of a kingdom education is rooted in God’s Word. Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” At our school, we believe that the Bible is not just a subject to be taught in isolation but the lens through which all subjects are viewed. This allows students to see God’s truth in every area of life…their lives.
Equipping for Kingdom Work
The ultimate purpose of kingdom education is to prepare our children to serve God and others. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
The Great Commission
Our role as parents and educators is to fulfill the Great Commission, as Jesus commands in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Kingdom education is a means of discipling the next generation, training them to be faithful followers of Christ who will carry out His mission in the world.
Transforming Hearts and Minds
Our ultimate goal is to see the hearts of our students transformed by the Gospel, and their minds aligned with God’s truth. Romans 12:2 says it so clearly, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Kingdom education is not easy, but we can rely on God’s grace to guide us as we partner with you in educating your children for His glory. We are honored to be part of this Kingdom work together. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of teaching and nurturing your children.
Impacting the world for Christ,
