Agritopia 04.04.2025

FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Hi Agritopia Families,

As a Christian parent, one of the most important things you will teach your child is God’s will for their life. I recently listened to an excellent episode of For the Gospel by Costi Hinn, local valley pastor at Shepherd’s House, titled “God’s Will for Every Christian”. This episode is an excellent resource for parents, and I highly encourage you to listen to it. Costi Hinn lays out ten things that are God’s will for every Christian, truths that we need for ourselves, and that we can instill in our children as they seek to live for Christ.

10 Things That Are God’s Will for Every Christian

  1. Be Saved – God desires that all come to faith in Christ. (1 Timothy 2:3-4)
  2. Be Different – We are called to be set apart and unlike the world. (1 Peter 1:14-16)
  3. Be Serving – God’s will includes serving others in love and using spiritual gifts for His glory. (1 Peter 4:7-11)
  4. Be Loving – Do I love God? Do I love others? (Luke 10:25-28)
  5. Be Generous – Managing time, money, and resources wisely for God’s kingdom is part of His will. (Phil. 2:6-7)
  6. Be a Witness – Evangelism and making disciples is central to God’s will for every believer. (Matthew 28:18-20)
  7. Be Spirit-Filled – Christians should live under the influence of the Holy Spirit rather than the flesh. (Ephesians 5:15-28)
  8. Be Faithful – Scripture teaches that suffering for Christ is part of the Christian life. (Philippians 1:27)
  9. Be Joyful, Prayerful & Thankful – Rejoice always! (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
  10. Be Filled with Scripture – God’s will is for believers to grow in holiness and obedience to His Word. (Colossians 3:16)

These biblical principles give a firm foundation for our children as they seek God’s direction for their lives and focus on who they are becoming in Christ. I personally listen to For the Gospel every week, and I encourage you to check it out. You can find this episode and more at For The Gospel Podcast.

Let’s continue praying for our children as they walk in God’s will!

Educating with eternity in mind,
