Principal’s Paragraph
Dear Greenfield Families,
As a Navy mom, it brings me great joy to be able to honor those who have served or are currently serving. Today we honored Veterans on campus with song, prayer and praise! We would like to extend a special thank you to ALL of the Veterans who were in attendance today!
The STUCO students prayed specifically for our Veterans to feel honored and to know Him personally. Here are two prayers that were shared by our students:
To Feel Honored: “God, please let every veteran of our nation’s armed forces feel truly and appropriately honored by the attention and appreciation of their fellow citizens. Let no one feel forgotten or neglected. Let every man and woman, young or old, feel the deep and enduring gratitude of our nation and its inhabitants.”
To Be Rewarded: “Father, please turn your gaze to those men and women who in their military service have sacrificed time, comfort, strength, ambition, and health for the peace and safety of family and friends and others they’ve never known. Bless them far beyond all their expectations. We pray they feel richly rewarded for all they have given.
To our men and women in uniform, past, present and future, God bless you and thank you. We are so incredibly grateful for your service.

Cross Country
Greenfield cross country is the ultimate run club and is also a no cut sport! All levels are welcome. You will get into great shape, have fun with your friends and build your strength and stamina. Running is the only sport you can talk while practicing (on easy days ). We will practice three days a week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:30-4:45. Two of the days the runs will start from campus and run around the neighborhoods and one day per week we will carpool to Discovery Park and run there. The races are 2 miles long and will begin at the end of November, with the championship in February. The team is coached by our Head High School Cross Country and Track Coach, Coach Ford, and will be assisted by other high school coaches. Coach Ford is looking forward to growing the cross country program at Gilbert Christian and her goals for the middle school experience are fun, friends and fitness.
