Agritopia 09.06.2024

FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Dear Agritopia Families,

Today in chapel, we continued our journey through the Beatitudes and students learned about Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn.” We discussed with students what it looks like to be sad over the things that make God sad, and when our hearts break over our sin, we are able to repent and ask for forgiveness.

Students were challenged to respond to sin with a repentant heart that seeks forgiveness and restoration instead of sorrow over being “caught” or “in trouble.” Mourning over sin is a blessing because Jesus Christ gives us forgiveness and comfort when we repent. Our hope is that students would experience this blessing when they view their sin as God does and seek His forgiveness.

Educating with eternity in mind,

Christmas Market

CALLING ALL STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS! Is your child interested in participating in this year’s Startup Club and Christmas Market? Applications go LIVE next week, and space is limited!

Startup Club is a fun, faith-based extracurricular program that teaches students how to start their very own business. Over the course of 6 weeks, students will receive one email per week with a short and sweet video lesson, and corresponding assignment. Lessons and assignments are designed to break down everything they need to do to launch their business in small, manageable steps—and it all culminates with a one day Market where they will launch their very own business—and earn a profit!

Students in grades 3-8 are invited to participate, and may team up with a friend or run their business solo. With the exception of one in-person gathering, and Market Day on Dec. 7th, this Club is largely virtual by design—making it easy for students to participate in other extracurricular activities simultaneously.

Not sure what it’s all about? Check out this video to learn more! APPLICATIONS GO LIVE NEXT WEEK!

Questions? We’d love to hear from you! Email us at [email protected].
