After dropping off your student(s), please join us for juice and pastries in the cafeteria from 8-8:30. Get to know other families and socialize with those you already know. We look forward to seeing you there.

FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT
Each year the GCS PK-8th campuses attend the Diamondbacks Faith and Family Night. This year, that event is on August 9th from 6:40 pm-10:00 pm at Chase Field. Casting Crowns will be performing after the game. Come and enjoy the game, sit with friends and families from Val Vista and stay for the concert!

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
After school clubs begin soon! As a reminder, these are recreational clubs. They are not private lessons or tutoring, and they are not a continuation of the academic day. Please check with the club directly if you have any questions, including scheduling, payment, or observing classes. All observations MUST be pre-approved by the club before parents can be in the classroom. These are third party organizations so you will need to reach out directly to them for any questions.
DRESS OUT DAY – AUGUST 13
On Tuesday, August 13th, students can pay $3 to have a Dress Out Day (non-uniform). Profits will go towards our mission of giving as well as fundraising efforts for student activities. You can pay for your child to participate HERE. *Make sure to pay attention to the Dress Out Day dress code.

Volunteers who already have an Approved Background Check for the 23/24 year, DO NOT need to fill a Volunteer Agreement or Background Check for the 24/25 next year. They’re good for 2 years. Only NEW families need to fill one out. If you’re new & would like to volunteer…please fill out this form.
