We are thankful for your interest in our school. Making a decision about your child’s education is an important decision. The GCS administration and staff welcome questions and visits so you may see for yourself all God has provided for children and families at Gilbert Christian Schools. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered school that partners with families to deliver a rigorous educational experience in a cultivating environment, equipping each student to embrace God’s unique plan for life. Our students acquire wisdom, knowledge, and a Biblical worldview as evidenced by a lifestyle of character, leadership, service, stewardship, and worship. Let me take this opportunity to wish you well in the application process and give you an overview of what you can expect from a Gilbert Christian Schools education.

Admission Requirements

Spiritual
It is required that the student or one of the parents has made a profession of faith in Christ. The student and parents should understand and affirm their agreement with the Gilbert Christian Schools’ mission statement and statement of faith. In the case of an unbelieving student or parent, there must be agreement, understanding, and support of our teachings and beliefs.
Behavior
Students abide by a code of conduct requiring discipline, respect for authority, neatness in physical appearance, courteous and appropriate speech, abstinence from tobacco, drugs, and alcohol, and a commitment to the use of leisure time which is consistent with Christian character.
Academic
We seek students willing to accept the challenge of a rigorous program of academics, fine arts, extracurricular activities, and athletics in a caring Christian environment designed to prepare students for college and for life. Students accepted in middle school grades are placed on academic and social probation for the first nine-week grading quarter. Gilbert Christian Schools attempts to serve a large cross section of students, including those with average and above-average abilities. Students professionally diagnosed and identified with a learning disability, emotional disability or other handicap or condition such as ADHD or ADD, may be accepted for enrollment after the principal has reviewed the student's application and agreed that the school's resources and staff are adequate and equipped to ensure that the student can be successful if enrolled at GCS.
