8th Grade Signature Trip

May 5th-8th is a marine science camp at Campus by the Sea on Catalina Island. During their stay, staff from the Long Beach Marine Institute will instruct students in five core classes: kayaking, snorkeling, squid dissection, ecology hike, and an intertidal survey.

In addition to the amazing beauty of the camp and wonderful science instruction, students will have evening time in God’s word with GCS staff, worship & prayer times, and time by the campfire for s’mores and fun. This will be an incredible trip where relationships will grow and memories will be made!

All students and chaperones must complete the required forms below to participate on the trip. The first deadline is October 25th for all students and chaperones to reserve their spots.

Chaperones have not been chosen yet, so parents interested in being chaperones should wait to fill out forms or pay until contacted by administration. Chaperone decisions will be made over fall break and then chaperones will be notified to proceed with payment and form completion.

Please download the appropriate forms below, print, fill out, sign, and return to the school or by email to Megan Jones (megan.jones@gcsaz.org) for both Agritopia and Greenfield campuses. You may also drop off forms at either campus at the front desk and they will be given to the appropriate administrator, Mrs. Cunningham at Agritopia and Mr. Thomas at Greenfield.
